Mr. Balmuth has served as Executive Chairman since 2023. Previously, he served in advisory roles with the Company since 2019. Before this he was Chairman of the Board from 2014 to 2021, including Executive Chairman from 2014 to 2019. He was also Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for 18 years from 1996 to 2014, during which time he also served as President from 2005 to 2009. Prior to this, Mr. Balmuth was Executive Vice President, Merchandising from 1993 to 1996 and Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager from 1989 to 1993. Before joining Ross, he was Senior Vice President and General Merchandising Manager at Bon Marché in Seattle from 1988 to 1989 and Executive Vice President and General Merchandising Manager for Karen Austin Petites from 1986 to 1988.
