(Nasdaq: ROST) today announced a $400,000 donation to the American Red Cross to assist with disaster relief efforts in Texas and Louisiana for the thousands of people impacted by Hurricane Harvey.  The Company is also raising additional funds by accepting customer donations to the American Red Cross from August 31^st through September 16^th at the store registers of its 1,384 Ross Dress for Less® and 205 dd's DISCOUNTS® locations. The destruction from this storm has been widespread with unprecedented and catastrophic flooding.  The Red Cross is responding to emergency needs in the affected areas by providing meals and shelter for victims.
