Ross Stores Donates $100,000 to the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Efforts

PLEASANTON, Calif., March 18, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --

Ross Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROST) today announced a $100,000 cash donation to the American Red Cross to assist with disaster relief efforts for victims of the recent devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

In addition, through March 31, 2011, all Ross Dress for Less(R) stores throughout the country will offer customers and associates the ability to make donations at the point of sale to the American Red Cross' Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Fund. Online donations to this Relief Fund can also be made via a link located at http://www.rossstores.com/.
